Nice quiet spot to enjoy the wildlife. Plenty of opportunities to walk around or ride a bike. There's a bird hide which is nice but it's pretty dry at the moment and most of the bird life is out of town until the wetlands are wet again. The benefit of it being dry is that the water levels are low and there are no motor boats making lots of noise.
Great place to camp, Great clean amenities and plenty of things for the kids to do
Great place for camping in tent, motor home or caravan. With showers and toilet on site. Nice views and good for bird watching. Lovely lake for boating, canoeing and swimming!
What a great place to stay for one night or more. Quiet, peaceful and well appointed. Hot showers and clean toilets. Good walks around the lake. Wildlife aplenty. Loved it.
I really really wanted to like this place, the views are gorgeous and it's an easy drive. However, we seem to have picked a terrible time to go. There's a group of houses across the road, one of which played loud music until 1am. Then there were the park lights, which came on at six and never went off.I go camping to enjoy the peace and quiet, and get away from the constant lights of the city. So I couldn't help but be bitterly disillusioned with our visit. The facilitates are good and there's a park for kids, but I won't be visiting again.
